Welcome to Westminster

All-Church Sunday School
Peacemakers -- Negotiating Life's Every Day Conflicts

Everyone is welcome on June 2, 9, 16, and 23 for an All-Church Sunday School event in Fellowship Hall.  The Rev. Phineas ("Phin") Washer, H.R., will lead us in an Introduction to Conflict Management Course.  Everyone negotiates something every day.  We are negotiating even when we don't think we are doing it -- with our spouse, our children, our boss, our neighbors, and even strangers.  Negotiation happens.  Come learn how to be a peacemaker; how to talk and listen to others with whom you may disagree and who may disagree with you.  Each session is independent.  Come to all or just a few.

What's Coming Up/Looking Ahead

From the Pastor:

Welcome to the Westminster Presbyterian Church website.  I hope this site will be useful for you in getting to know something about the ministry of our congregation as well as some of those who minister.  It is our hope and prayer that many will be blessed through these ministries-including you.

We are a congregation of people called together by God's grace.  We seek to be faithful disciples of Jesus Christ through our worship, teaching, fellowship, and service to others.  We believe with other Presbyterian Christians that:

"In life and in death we belong to God.  Through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, we trust in the one triune God, the Holy One of Israel, whom alone we worship and serve...  With believers in every time and place, we rejoice that nothing in life or in death can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."  A Brief Statement of Faith of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)

I'm glad you have visited our website, but encourage you to take another step.  Come visit us in person. You are welcome to come and be a part of all that God offers at Westminster.

In Christ's service,

Bill Clark
Pastor

Westminster Presbyterian Church Mission Statement
