Bear one another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2
Westminster Presbyterian Church is a congregation committed to caring for its members and for its neighbors near and far. Care is provided through many avenues - prayer, visitation, service, and group support. Members and staff alike share in this ministry.
The pastors and staff are available to counsel and give aid or referrals as needed. Prayer requests, hospital visits, or requests for support during a time of grief or illness are always encouraged. If you wish, these requests can be handled by only the staff or members of the Congregational Care Committee. If not, the congregation's list of needs and concerns is updated daily and available to the membership for their involvement.
The Congregational Care Committee writes care cards to members needing care, delivers flowers to members not able to attend worship regularly, hosts receptions for funerals and memorial services and seeks to minister to God's people in need.
