October 28, 2008 - Task Force reports to Session on process and major "learnings" from the conversations to date; Session broke into small groups to discuss. The learnings are:

  • Connections and Relationships at WPC are powerful and important (CONNECT);
  • Taking on a whole church cause (mission) could be used to build church identity and build connections (SERVE);
  • Teaching and Equipping members for spiritual growth (includes coping and embracing change) (GROW);
  • Telling the outside world our story (TELL).

Session voted to adopt these themes and integrate them with the "Grow Christ's Church Deep and Wide" Fall 2008 Stewardship Campaign.
